Adult Education

works with the rabbi and staff on classes and  scholars-in-residence and other educational programs for adults

Alternatives in Prayer

a new committee to create ways in which our members can add to their spiritual growth through meditation and other alternative practices

Family Program

works with our education staff to develop educational and fun program for kids, including Shabbat dinners, havdalah programs, holiday events and Shabbat morning children's’ services

Hanukah Arts Festival

plans all aspects of our annual crafts fair, including the children’s Hanukah program

Hebrew School

works with the Education Director on curriculum and policies for our school, hiring staff and enriching students’ experience at the school

Israel Program

being revitalized this year to focus our activities in relation to the ongoing crisis in Israel

Nursery Program

works with the Nursery Director on curriculum and policies for the program, recruiting students and enriching students’ experience at the school

Publicity

publicizes all events at the synagogue, coordinating literature, advertisements and other outreach materials

Retreat

creates the theme and programming for a retreat for the entire Ansche Chesed community outside the city

Social Action

will be revitalized this year to work with our various constituencies to create social action activities that involve our members in serving our local community, our country and the world

Young Professionals

programs monthly Friday night dinners and other activities for singles

Youth Groups

is being formed to advise the education staff on all matters relating to our youth groups
